About me…
My name is Jeff Koonce and I am a landscape and nature photographer from the Nashville, Tennessee area. I am by no means a professional. I would consider myself an inspired hobbyist. This is a passion I have had since I was very young. I love to explore nature, whether it be several days backpacking in the backcountry or just an afternoon walk in the woods.
I would describe my photographic style as mostly bright and colorful. I like there to be an uplifting mood to my images. I do edit my images to a small degree to accentuate a certain mood or visionary style. Although, when editing my images, I try to avoid over the top or eccentric post processing.
I have at one time or another had interests in Street Photography, Wedding and Event Photography, but always found myself drawn back to Landscape and Nature Photography. I think the serenity that nature provides in this fast paced world we live in is what continues to bring me back.
